A journey from Armenias capital Yerevan & back along this countries dusty roads of Armenia.. From taxi to taxi to cross the country, there are numerous taxi drivers and cars from the new to the old. I met with drivers to arrange passage from town to town. Walking in ancient canyon graveyards, between great gorges to the amazing moss covered waterfall. When we got lost and thirsty the hospitable villagers welcomed us with cake and honey tea. It was a brief break from the trail and the road before heading back. We travelled here and back by the numerous and cheap taxis available and the colourful drivers., most were old Lada's modified to run on gas and pimped out with carpets and trinkets. What I saw most from a speeding cracked or dust car window so this is what I photographed and the drivers and the landscape. I am a stranger in these places, only a passenger so I can only photograph what I see and dream.. The images here and its short story inspired the story ' On the road to Nagorno-Karabakh by writer Rowan J . Curtis.
